How do I place an order?
All you need to do is call us on 01582 257094 or text us on 07775 515212 to arrange a collection time convenient to you.
How quickly will my ironing be returned?
If we receive your order before 5.30pm we would aim to collect the same day and drop off the following day.
If you need a faster turnaround, such as a same-day service, let us know and we’ll see what we can do to help you out.
How much does it cost?
Ironing services prices are calculated by weight:
Up to 7kg – £24
Each additional kg – £3.50
We have a minimum order charge of £24.00 and payment is made on delivery of your ironed items.
Collection and delivery is free of charge if you live within our stated operating area.
How many items will I fit in 7kg?
As a quick rule of thumb 1 kilo would be roughly one pair of jeans, a couple of t-shirts and a shirt and blouse, or a king size duvet cover. There isn’t an exact science for this, but a loosely-filled black bin-bag will normally weigh around 8 kilos.
How do I know how much my ironing weighs?
You don’t need to worry about doing this yourself. The driver will weigh your ironing load on collection, that way both parties know exactly what the costs are before we start ironing.
Do I need to provide anything with my ironing?
We like to keep this really simple for our customers so all you need to provide are the items that require ironing in a black bag or laundry bag. If you wish to provide your own hangers these should be included on collection.
How quickly will you return my ironing?
We pride ourselves on providing a 24 hour turnaround for your ironing. We will also make sure that we deliver at a time that’s convenient to you, whether that’s early morning, during the day or in the evening.
How will my ironing be returned?
We return shirts, trousers, skirts and ladies’ tops on wired hangers, carefully wrapped in polythene protective covers.
We fold bedding and T-shirts, and wrap them in polythene for return.
Can I return the hangers and protective covers?
Should you wish to return theses we will be happy to recycle the hangers and dispose of the polythene protective covers for you.
What if I’m not at home when you collect or deliver my ironing?
Ideally we would try to arrange a collection or delivery at a time when you could be at home to receive it. If this isn’t possible we’ll ask if there’s a safe place such as garage, garden shed porch or trusted neighbour who could take it in.
We will always do our best to ensure that collections and deliveries are made at a convenient time for you; our aim is to make ironing stress-free!
Will you do ironing outside of your operating area?
If you need an ironing service but you live outside our operating area, give us a call and we’ll see if we can help.
Will I need to set up a contract with you?
We prefer to respond to our customers’ needs as they arise. We are happy to see you weekly, fortnightly or just when things start to pile up a bit – especially when returning home from holiday.
